
I hope that my replacement battery is better than the old one (it was good to replace it in any case, as the old one just worked for 4 to 8 hours max, but after taking it out of the watch I figured that it had expanded. I guess, erratic behavior after installing a new battery which is almost empty is normal. I have done a force restart and given it plenty of time to charge. When I put it on charge the charging snake turns green but does not start.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the batteries sold by iFixit are too old sometimes (especially when they are for the early watch models).
